Description

This module introduces students to econometric analysis, through a consideration of the basic regression model, its properties, what can go wrong, and how those problems are solved. Throughout, the module tries to provide students with an intuitive feel for the issues, rather than everything being in terms of mathematical proofs. Students are also provided with the practical experience of performing their own regression analyses, in a supported workshop setting with data sets provided to them.
